what is the book about?

This story is the documentation of a journey through the various levels of consciousness and how a partnership evolves as individuals do. It is Divya’s personal narrative of her decades in various forms of co-dependent relationships and how they have evolved as she continues her own commitment to brain training. It’s the tale of how lovingly and faithfully we can shine light on our shadows. As much theory as it references in terms of attachment styles and types of consciousness, it’s a highly personal read.

Stylistically it’s a cross between memoir, self-help guidebook, and a Socratic dialogue.

What inspired Divya to write this book?

Divya lives for transformation. And when one person transforms, so too do the relationships and systems they participate in. She is fascinated by the psychological and spiritual phenomena that create these changes  on a systemic level, and how they came to be that way. Motivated by curiosity and amazement at how her perspective on different situations changed throughout the years, she yearned to explore those transformative perspective shifts that all of us can achieve when we commit to our personal development.

Divya's first book isn't technically a book.

It's a gratitude journal featuring 52 of her mixed media collages.

If you’re interested in the concepts Divya writes about, why not read some of her blogs. She has dubbed it edu-tainment; as her goal is to write not just about the things you want and need to know but also to do so in a way that is fun and engaging.

I read Divya’s writing and think,'That makes so much sense...why didn't I see that before,’ because she has a way of explaining psychological tenants that just seems so natural and familiar.
